Biography
Chang Liu is an Associate Attorney at David Hirson & Partners, LLP, where she represents clients in both nonimmigrant and immigrant matters for corporations and individuals. Her practice focuses on employment-based immigration, including EB-1, investment-based immigration through the EB-5 program, and nonimmigrant work visas, such as L-1, L-2, H-1B, and H-4. She also has experience handling family-based immigration petitions.
Chang combines legal expertise with personal experience to provide strategic and effective immigration representation. Having immigrated to the United States with her family, she has firsthand insight into the challenges and complexities of the immigration process. This experience informs her dedication to guiding individuals, families, and businesses through the evolving landscape of U.S. immigration law.
Prior to joining David Hirson & Partners, LLP, Chang served as a public defender in Washington State, where she represented indigent individuals facing misdemeanor and gross misdemeanor charges.
Chang earned her LL.M. from the University of Washington School of Law. She also holds an LL.M. from Durham University School of Law in the United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Laws from Shanghai University School of Law in China.
