On November 3, 2021, Attorney Niral Patel, Partner at David Hirson & Partners, LLP, presented at Invest in the USA’s (IIUSA’s) 2021 Virtual EB-5 Industry Forum. Mr. Patel presented on the panel titled “Complying with and Implementing Integrity Reforms.” He presented alongside Eren Cicekdagi (Golden Gate Global), Rebecca Singh (Mona Shah & Associates), Mike Xenick (InvestAmerica Capital Advisors), with Jill Jones (JTC Group) moderating.
This panel discussed the future of the EB-5 immigrant investor program and possible integrity issues and solutions. My Patel explained, “My takeaway is that the industry must be prepared for reform and integrity measures to take place. Once they do, I’m hopeful that the bad actors will be filtered out giving EB-5 a bright future.”
